Even on the the most dismal days are full of photographic potential. The hardest part is gathering enough enthusiasm to get out and do it! Fortunately, this winter wasn't very cold although there was plenty of snow.
Snow does wonderful things to the landscape and on a dull day can produce a flat, luminous light. It also separates subjects from otherwise busy backgrounds.
